A DJ collective out of Folkestone and Sandgate. Records, rooms and radio — the same decks whether we're on the coast or on the air.
Frequency is a group of DJs working out of Folkestone and Sandgate on the Kent coast. We put on nights, we make mixes, and we broadcast — backed by Radio Folkestone and DCR.
The name is the whole idea. Everyone's tuned to something. Find yours.
Rooms on the coast, run properly. Late, loud and worth the trip.
Recorded sets from the collective, up here to listen back whenever.
Live on 105.9 FM, DAB and online with Radio Folkestone & DCR.
The first Frequency night. Late summer on the Kent coast, doors from half eight, four DJs through 'til late — and Wayne JC broadcasting live off the floor before the room fills.
Wayne JC opens up live from 6–8pm, then Frequency Presents takes the airwaves 8–10pm — broadcast live and direct off the floor while the room fills.
Mimosa is a modern Mediterranean restaurant and cocktail bar on Sandgate High Street, a few steps up from the seafront. Opened in 2025 by Enesh Thompson and Ahmet Okmen, it's handcrafted cocktails, a proper wine list and a beer garden round the back.
Make an evening of it — eat first, catch the broadcast, stay for the room.

Wayne JC has been behind the wheels of steel since 2012 — first as a local radio DJ, then back on the things that spin. The Tracklist is where he lives: the newest house across the genre, keeping the shows fresh and the pace bouncing. With more than 200,000 Spotify plays on his own releases over the last five years, regular spots on UK radio and a residency at Radio Folkestone, Wayne stays right at the front of new music.
New mixes, new dates, first word on tickets. Nothing else.
